Restaurant Locus has seating for 42 covers across two intimate dining rooms, the rooms have combined original elements such as the large windows and Victorian iron radiators with modern design, and features dark wood and slate floors and a muted colour palette.

The Locus bar and lounge area features a stainless steel bar complemented by a host of comfortable leather chairs and sofas, and offers diners an extensive wine list , with many wines served by the glass, alongside premium spirits, bottled and draught lagers.

Licensed until 12.30, Locus wants to encourage their customers to spend a whole evening with them . The bar and lounge area are in a relaxed and comfortable setting in which they can meet friends for an aperitif before dining or retire to after the meal for a coffee, another couple of drinks from the bar or perhaps just a nightcap.

Locus serves a modern British menu based on the old fashioned principle of good food cooked well. All our food is cooked to order using local fresh produce wherever possible. Our extensive A La Carte menu is available Tuesday to Saturday with several special dishes in addition over the weekend. Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening alongside our A La Carte we offer a Table d'hote menu at £11.95 for two courses.

Sunday evening is "Jazz night". Join us, relax and listen to our two piece resident Jazz band playing every Sunday whilst you dine. Choose from a wide selection of dishes from our A La Carte menu at £13.95 for two courses or 15.95 for three courses.

Restaurant Locus welcomes the Charisma Card when ordering off the A La carte Menu (minimum of two courses). Card holders are entititled to 10% discount per two people when ordering from our A La Carte Menu. Offer excludes Saturdays.

Restaurant Locus offers two features which are highly unusual for Chester- its own car park to the rear as well as ample on road parking, and the fact that the restaurant and bar area are completely non-smoking.
